13th Annual Tucson Classics Car Show

Tucson Classic Car Show’s 13th Annual Presented by Rotary Club of Tucson– NAWIC’S 2nd Annual – Last year’s proceeds went to: Make Way For Books last year TCCS donated $70,288 from the 2018 car show. Another $175,000 went to five exceptional charities who assist us with volunteers for the show.  This year the Make Way For Books along with Interfaith Community Services (funds the opening of an additional location for a “Family Self-Sufficiency Center’ offering food pantry, job resource center, computer stations and large meeting space for workshops and programs) Reid Park Zoo – This donation will be used to help fund expansion for a new multi-level “Treetop Adventure Playground’ children’s area at the zoo.

Speaker, Randi Dorman: Randi moved from Manhattan to Downtown Tucson in 2001 and she has been going full speed ever since, developing projects and organizations that have helped make Downtown what it is today.

After a successful career in advertising and global branding in NY, Randi shifted her focus to real estate development with the development of the Ice House Lofts in downtown Tucson.

Randi Dorman is passionate about Downtown Tucson and arts and culture in the community. She was President of the Museum of Contemporary Art Tucson for over 5 years and created a weekly email called “Randi’s Picks” that highlighted events in Tucson, with a focus on the arts and downtown. In addition Randi did branding consulting with Bromberg Consulting and is proud to be the Chairwoman of the Downtown Tucson Partnership.

Speaker: Nikole (Ho mont) Haumont is a businesswoman, speaker and consultant. She is also a devoted wife to Simon, mom to her son Lincoln, and fur mom to Josie a Boston Terrier/Beagle mix dog. Nikole is the founder and principal designer at Shield Bar Marketing – a boutique marketing firm that helps service based businesses create and maintain a consistent, branded look across all assets. Her team provides logo design, website design, marketing graphic design, email marketing and social media management services.

Nikole co-founded the Advantage Alliance Business Referral Networking group in the Green Valley Sahuarita area. She is also the co-chair of the Green Valley Sahuarita Chamber of Commerce Advertising and Marketing committee. The Haumont’s relocated to Sahuarita, Arizona in the fall of 2017. The previous 10 years they had called Cedar Rapids, Iowa home. They met in Rapid City, South Dakota where Simon was going to college and Nikole was co-founder of Today’s Horse Magazine.  

Nikole will be sharing stories and anecdotes from growing up on the family ranches located in the windswept plains of Montana/Wyoming/South Dakota, and what those experiences taught her about business.

2019 Block Kids Build

Join Us! Space is limited, so reserve your spot today.

This is a FREE event to kids in Kindergarten - 6th grade.

11:30am: Kindergarten - 1st grade registration begins

12:00pm: 2nd - 3rd grade registration begins

12:30pm: 4th - 6th grade registration begins

(1 hour build)

3:00pm: Awards

Each child will receive 100 Lego-style blocks and their choice of (3) of the following items: a small rock, 12” of string, 18”x18” square of aluminum foil and/or poster board. Children will have 1 hour to use their imagination to build a project related to the construction industry, i.e. houses, buildings, bridges, or construction equipment. The use of scissors, knives, or specialty pieces is prohibited.

Judging will be based on creativity, use of blocks, and an oral interview. Parents are not allowed in the construction zone during building and judging but may observe their child at a safe distance!

Prizes will be awarded for each grade level.   Space is limited to the first 100 participants.
